Poop

Do you ever have those days where you just want to climb back in bed? Well, today has been one of those days for me. If I was forwarded the opportunity right now, I would hit the rewind button. As a mom, few things that my children do surprise me anymore. Although this afternoon when I walked into my three and a half year olds room and found poop on the floor, I was more than a little shocked (I will spare you the picture I took). Needless to say, this is how my whole day has been, which is why I just want to climb back into bed. Ok...just needed to vent a little. As much as I'd like to pass on days such as today, every day is well worth being a mom! I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Sleeping Beauty

There is something so serene and beautiful about a sleeping baby. I could spend hours watching our little angel sleep. Who am I kidding...I do.

It's here!!!

Football season is finally here! This is the season that we wait all year for. Sunday afternoons are spent sitting on the couch, eating pizza and ice cream, and cheering on our favorite football team. Being that we are in full craft swing around here, I thought I would make Tess a Hawks shirt to start the season off right.

The Fair

It's become a family tradition of ours to visit the Evergreen State Fair at the end of summer. This year was no exception. The only bummer about going this year was that this picture taken mama forgot her camera. I did manage a few photos on my iPhone though.

Do we or don't we???

Not that any decisions must be made at this moment, because they don't, but the topic of having another baby is open for discussion in our home.  Both Tim and I definitely wouldn't mind another baby!  But do we really want to start over....again?  Jayda has been such an easy baby.  She sleeps through the night and has done so since she was two months old.  She cries when she's hungry and that's the only time she really cries.  The rest of her time is spent smiling, cooing, eating, and sleeping.  Tessa on the other hand was a little more difficult.  So, I guess the real question becomes are we just afraid of having a baby who's not quite as easy as Jayda has been.  Regardless, it kind of feels like someone is still missing.  It's kind of hard to explain, but it doesn't really feel like our family is complete.  Anyways, more to come.  Just wanted to jot down my thoughts tonight.

A birthday bash for Blake and Blake

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Kraig and Becca's little boy Blake turning two.  We also celebrated Lindsey and Josh's little boy Blake turning two.  These two little guys are as cute as can be, and I can't believe they are two!

Happy Birthday Blake and Blake!

Fall is in the air....

As much as I want to hold onto summer this year, I know it's going to come to an end.  So, I'm beginning to embrace the beginning of fall.  As fall approaches, we swing into craft over drive around here. Michael's craft store becomes our second home.  With fall comes many afternoons in the kitchen baking, mornings are spent in our pj's drinking tea and working on crafts, and evenings are for walks and soaking up as much fresh fall air as possible.

I can't forget one of the more important aspects of fall.....HUNTING!  That's right.  Tim and I left the girls with our fabulous friends Friday night and headed out hunting.  The climb to the top of the mountain was tough, but well worth it when we got to the top.  Pictures don't begin to do the view we had justice.

Those of you who are into hunting will appreciate this picture.  "Fresh Sign"
