Tessa'a new friend

Tess and I went shopping for her birthday decorations on Friday.....I know....two months early, but I couldn't help myself. While we were at the party store, she got a pink balloon. She played with it in the store, the whole way home, at home, and she wouldn't even let go of it during dinner. She was sad when she got up the next morning and it wasn't as lively as it had been the day before. We found the balloon a new home in the trash, and we are pleased to say that Tess has moved on and is paying attention to her other toys again. :-)

Another baby in the family!

We are so excited for my brother and sis-in-law. They found out yesterday that they are going to have a baby. Tess will have another little cousin. This will make cousin #5 for her. We can't wait to welcome our new little nephew or niece! Congrats you two!!!!

10 months.....already....

Wow, I really can't believe that our baby is 10 months. It seems like it was just last month that I was in the hospital getting ready to have our little angel.

Tess is getting bigger by the day. She seems like such a little girl and not so much a baby.

She weighs 17 1/2 lbs
She was almost 28 inches long at her last appointment, which was a month ago.
She babbles all the time....such a girl!
She is walking with our help and the help of furniture
She stands on her own
She is little miss independent...she must take after mommy...
She is also little miss attitude...
She still sleeps 12 hours a night.....praise the Lord....I'm praying this lasts
She LOVES her bath time
She is definitely a people person (baby)
She's a daddy's girl and gets so excited to see Tim when he gets home from work
She enjoys her play dates and likes going out to new places

Tim and I couldn't be happier and feel so incredibly blessed to have Tess in our lives!

Tim and I have never been one for Valentines Day. We would rather have something special done on a day when were not expecting it. However, just for fun this last week, I entered our love story on Spirit 105.3 FM. To my surprise we won...well kind of. We won for the second weeks love stories, and we have been entered into the grand prize drawing. Every week they pick five love stories they like the best. Bath Time

One of Tessa's favorite parts of the day is her bath time. She LOVES playing in the water.

This week has been a pretty busy week for us. Monday was so beautiful that Tess and I went on a long walk in the morning. When Tim got home from work, we went on another walk. We can't wait until spring....the weather has been teasing us the last few days. On Tuesday Tess and I went to a friends for a play date. Tess had a lot of fun playing with all the boys...we won't tell daddy that part... :-) Today we went to visit Tim at work. As you can see by the pictures, she was ready to jump right in and help her daddy work. Tim is such a great dad and had fun toting Tess around the office to show her off....such a proud daddy!!!

Every now and then we give Tess a little treat. She had a little bit of chocolate frosting on a cracker....you'd never know it was just a little bit though. She had fun eating it and fun in the bath when she was done.
