Here's to seven wonderful years!!!

Someday many years from now, we'll look back on this busy and crazy time in our life together and wonder just how we did it all...but until then, we'll keep doing what we're doing now...serving God together, sharing our home, growing our family, and deepening our love for each other! Happy 7th anniversary to my best and most trusted friend! I love you!

River Run

I started running again this last month. For 30 min a day, I get to take a break from kids, cleaning, phone calls, laundry, cooking, and the list goes on. I lace up my running shoes, turn my music on, and run. This is me time! Time to run in the country, time to spend with God, and time for reflection. I love it!

With that said,  my sis and I ran the River Run 5k this last weekend in Wenatchee...Not a long distance, but a fun one. Love you sis....and here's to the next one.

Here are before and after pics. Tim got more, but they are still on his phone.

Fall is in the air...

With school starting tomorrow, cooler evenings, and crisp mornings, fall is fast approaching. I'm dusting off the fall decorations, breaking out my fall craft bin, and inviting the smell of cinnamon to linger in our kitchen. Even though we have a few weeks before the start of the fall season officially begins, I'm diving in a little early this year....just because I can!

Oat pumpkin muffins and crockpot apple sauce.  Both are favorites in our house. The muffin recipe I got from food and fitness 4 real. I added more pumpkin than it called for and a little less maple syrup.

The crockpot apple sauce is super easy. 10 apples (variety of your choice) (peeled, cored, and cut into pieces), 1/3 cup agave, 1/2 cup water, and 1 table spoon Saigon cinnamon (although, i usually use more). Set the crockpot to low for eight hours and enjoy!
