Merry CHRISTmas!

We got our white Christmas. We haven't spent Christmas with my family from Wenatchee in a few years. It was so wonderful to be home for the holidays this year! Christmas Eve was spent relaxing, eating, and opening a few presents. Every year it's been a tradition in our family to read the Christmas story together and have a cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve.
This year my mom got all of the girls sweats. Of course these were no ordinary sweats. They were each personalized with our names. We just had to show them off.

Christmas day was spent doing much of the same. We opened presents, ate, and enjoyed each others company. My mom also took Tim and I up to the hospital so we could play on the ultrasound machine and see Tessa. She was kicking up a storm. She also decided to suck her thumb while having her picture taken! We love her so much and she isn't even here yet.....

It snowed and snowed and snowed

It snowed, and the snow is still falling. We have about a foot of snow on the ground and are expecting more. It doesn't seem to be letting up, and everything is covered in a beautiful white blanket.

First Snow of the Year

So, we finally got our first snow of the year. These pictures were taken out in front of our house. Not a ton, but just enough to paint the ground white. We didn't even get as much snow as Seattle. Tim and I watched the weather channel all day Thursday hoping it would snow more here but it didn't. Now were just waiting for the next big storm headed our way this weekend. We'll see what happens. It's been a wild week of weather in Western Washington. Tim and are planning (weather permitting) to head over to Wenatchee for Christmas. They have well over 8 inches of snow, so we'll get our white Christmas this year!

The Tri-Cities

Tim had to take another short business trip to the Tri-Cities last week, and I got to go with. It's been a lot of fun being able to travel with him when he goes out of town. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel right along the river. This view was from our room. Tim spent the days working, and I spent the days shopping and relaxing. The weather was cold but very sunny. We spent the evenings together just hanging out enjoying our view.

It's a girl!

Today we found out we are having a little girl.....Tessa Mackenzie Bryan. The ultrasound went great too. She is healthy and growing big, which means mommy is growing big too! We are still right on for our due date...April 15 AKA tax day. After the ultrasound, we made a trip to Baby's R'us, so daddy could pick out a little outfit for her. It was pretty fun to see him looking at all the little girl cloths. He got her a pink camoflouge outfit, and I have to admit, it was pretty cute!

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary in Miami, FL

We spent our 2nd wedding anniversary in Miami, FL. Tim had to be there on business, but we took a day for ourselves. The weather was beautiful! I still wasn't feeling all that great, but was able to enjoy the white sandy beach. We had a top floor ocean view room. It was so fun to sit at night and watch the big cruise ships go by. We had a lot of fun swimming in the ocean. The water was just over 80 degrees and turquoise blue. It was a great time of year to go. The temps were still in the 90's, and it wasn't crowded at all. I got first pick of the beach every morning. We also enjoyed walking along the boardwalk, which was just in front of the beach. The night life is very vibrant and full of energy.

It was positive!

Friday August 8th we found out we were expecting a baby. :-) The first several months have been tough. I have been really sick, but things are looking up. Our first exam was Thursday September 4th. I measured 7wks 5dys. Our little bean had a healthy heartbeat of 150bpm. We can't wait until we findout what we are having. This picture was taken at 6wks.
