What's this....two days of warm sun

Tess would swing all day if I let her

I think spring has sprung...knock on wood.  The last two days have been beautiful and warm.  After being sick all week, the sun was just what I needed.  Tess was excited to get out of the house too. 

Sweet and silly moments

It's not very often that I can catch Tess asleep.  Usually, just as I open her door, she opens her eyes.  I managed to tucker her out pretty good last week, and I was able to get a picture of her fast asleep.  Watching her sleep brought back so many precious memories of when she would sleep in my arms when she was a baby.

This is what happens when mommy tries to talk on the phone.  Tessa will get into everything she knows she's not suppose to get into.  She does it so fast too.  She decorated her face with make-up, and she decorated the floor with toilet paper.

The "Super Moon."  We took the truck up to the top of a hill across town.  We sat and waited for the "super moon" to makes it's appearance...and what an appearance it made.  It was beautiful, and it was fun to watch it come up together as a family. 

Someone snuck into our bedroom and found her birthday present.

A Baby Shower...

I love baby showers.  Yummy food, great conversation, lots of gifts for the mama to be, and what is cuter than a pregnant belly.  My cousin Heather's baby shower was this last weekend, and what fun it was.  Her and Scott live just a few doors down, which made for an easy trip over to their house.  Congrats again you two!!!  We are so happy for you, and can't wait to meet our new little cousin!

It's so fun having a little girl.  Tess enjoyed the baby shower too.  Have I mentioned that she LOVES babies.  I think she's ready for a little brother or sister...

Just being a toddler...

This last week and weekend were both fun and busy.  It feels like we've been going and going and going, which is probably a good thing considering the rainy weather.  It gives us something other than the cold rain to concentrate on.

I know I've posted about Tessa's tiny little hands before.  I just love watching her create and learn with them.

Tess will spend hours playing with play-Doh.  When I was little, I would spend hours playing with it too.   





This weekend two of Tessa's friends turned two.  We were only able to make one of the parties though.  Happy Birthday Paisley and Lily!  Jenn, Paisley's party was beautiful!



The kiddos got to make cute little purses.

We finished our weekend off with ice cream, and a drive to the top of our street.  We walk up to the top of our hill all the time in the summer to enjoy the view.
