Priceless

Tim used my car for work this morning. He took the car seat out and brought it in the house just in case we needed it. Tess got right inside and was ready to leave.

A picture worth a thousand words!!!

I swear it's just juice!!!!

Caspar Babypants

There's a great kids band called Caspar Babypants. They have been traveling to several of the library's in King county and performing. They were great. Tess loved them and danced her way through the songs.

The Jr. Apple Blossom parade....

Every year Wenatchee has their annual Apple Blossom Festival. There's a carnival down by the river, a food fair, two parades, and much more. This year all of us girls went to the parade while the boys to their planes and went flying.

Watching the parade

A short weekend away

This last weekend we headed east of the mountains to visit my parents. I loved growing up in Wenatchee...especially in the spring. It's beautiful with all of the blossoms and sun.

Our adorable little girl

grandma and grandpa always have lots of fun toys for the grand kids.
Tim and I went out for our date night while in town. We love just sitting, drinking a Starbucks coffee, looking over the town, and talking.

Tessa and Lucy

Another pic of Tess and Lucy. She loves dogs and the two of them got into lots of trouble this weekend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!!!!!!

For Tim's birthday he wanted to go shooting at a local range and have dinner with Tess and I. So that's just what we did. Last night we left Tess with her cousin and we went out. It had been awhile since we'd been shooting and we had a blast....pun intended. Tim's a great shot by the way. Tonight we had a nice dinner and of course cake. I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband and can't wait for many more birthdays to share with him.

What fabulous weather we've had!

Tess and I took advantage of another warm day and went on a walk up our hill. The view from the top is incredible as are the 2 and 3 million dollar homes, and since we can't afford to live in a home with a view like the bottom picture, we'll settle for going to the park and enjoying the view from there!

Tim and I love watching sunsets. This picture was taken last night from our bedroom window.

Enjoying Friday Sunshine!

One of the advantages to living up in the Issaquah Highlands are the dozens of parks all within walking distance. Last year Tess was too little to play on the toys, but this year she's not. We had fun today walking to two of the parks. She loved running around and playing on all of the toys. She lost one of her shoes on the way to the second park...but we found it on the way home. I think she had more fun playing without her shoes on anyways.

A future soccer pro???

About a month ago Tess really got into playing with her pink soccer ball. Now, it's what she's playing with the most. She kicks it all over the house. It's so funny to watch such a tiny little girl run and kick a ball a quarter the size of her. Even her blanket gets in on all the action.... :-)

My friend Priscilla

Yesterday we met up with my friend Breanne and her daughter Priscilla. We had fun and so did the girls.

He Has Risen! Happy Easter...a little late

This Easter was fabulous. I always love celebrating Easter. In addition to it being the day Jesus rose from the dead, it's almost like the official kick-off to spring. This Easter was Tessa's second Easter...hard to believe. Last year she was just a week old, and her stuffed bunny was the same size she was. We were able to celebrate Easter Sunday in out new church building. We went over to my parents house after and had brunch and an Easter egg hunt. Here are a few pictures of Tess opening her Easter basket.
