Merry CHRISTmas!

We got our white Christmas. We haven't spent Christmas with my family from Wenatchee in a few years. It was so wonderful to be home for the holidays this year! Christmas Eve was spent relaxing, eating, and opening a few presents. Every year it's been a tradition in our family to read the Christmas story together and have a cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve.
This year my mom got all of the girls sweats. Of course these were no ordinary sweats. They were each personalized with our names. We just had to show them off.

Christmas day was spent doing much of the same. We opened presents, ate, and enjoyed each others company. My mom also took Tim and I up to the hospital so we could play on the ultrasound machine and see Tessa. She was kicking up a storm. She also decided to suck her thumb while having her picture taken! We love her so much and she isn't even here yet.....

It snowed and snowed and snowed

It snowed, and the snow is still falling. We have about a foot of snow on the ground and are expecting more. It doesn't seem to be letting up, and everything is covered in a beautiful white blanket.

First Snow of the Year

So, we finally got our first snow of the year. These pictures were taken out in front of our house. Not a ton, but just enough to paint the ground white. We didn't even get as much snow as Seattle. Tim and I watched the weather channel all day Thursday hoping it would snow more here but it didn't. Now were just waiting for the next big storm headed our way this weekend. We'll see what happens. It's been a wild week of weather in Western Washington. Tim and are planning (weather permitting) to head over to Wenatchee for Christmas. They have well over 8 inches of snow, so we'll get our white Christmas this year!

The Tri-Cities

Tim had to take another short business trip to the Tri-Cities last week, and I got to go with. It's been a lot of fun being able to travel with him when he goes out of town. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel right along the river. This view was from our room. Tim spent the days working, and I spent the days shopping and relaxing. The weather was cold but very sunny. We spent the evenings together just hanging out enjoying our view.
