Soaking up the fall sun

With temperatures in the low 70's and sunny sky's this last week, it felt more like summer than it did fall here in the Teanaway Valley.  It did make for a gorgeous week of playing outside though.

The Pumpkin Patch

We love fall in our home.  Fall is when we harvest our last cut of hay, it's when the holiday baking season officially begins in our house, it's when we visit the pumpkin patch and enjoy hayrides, it's when we all put on our cozy pj's and cuddle by the fire at night, it's the time of year we take brisk afternoon walks and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa when we're finished, it's when we climb an apple tree to pick the perfect apple, and I can't forget to mention it's when we jump into the piles of leaves blanketing the ground.  These are just a few reasons we enjoy fall.

Here's our trip to the pumpkin patch...

September in pictures

Tessa's first day of Pre-K...Sept.4th

Her wonderful teacher Ms. N.J.

The fair has become one of our fall family traditions.  Instead of our usual visit to the Monroe fair, we ventured a little closer to home this time.  The girls and us enjoyed the Chelan County fair this year.
