Keeping ourselves entertained

So, what do you do with a toddler when it's cold and rainy outside...for two weeks.
You play make believe
Read countless books
Color
Play with Play-Doh
Pretend you're at the beach with lots of beach balls
Look out the window and pretend to see the sun
and finally
watch the movie "UP" too many times to count

The Falls

Snoqualmie Falls in all her glory
We ventured up to the falls on Sunday after church.  With all of the rain and snow melt this last week, the river was raging.  It was pretty amazing to see the power of the water falling over the edge.

Little Chloe

Our little niece and Tessa's little cousin, Chloe, came for a visit on Saturday.  She's almost 6 months old already...crazy how they grow so fast

Taking her new wheels out for a spin

With the sun making an appearance last week, we took full advantage.  We spent much of the afternoon outside.  Tess is such a little girl, from her 15 pairs of shoes to her collection of play jewelery, but she has another side.  The "lets take my new toy outdoors and get muddy," side.  I'm thankful for both.

So silly...

I found a heart in the sky...A reminder to me of how much God loves us.

Tessa's 2nd Birthday Bash with family

On March 26, 2009 at 6:31pm, Tim and I welcomed our new little bundle of joy into the world. Since then, we've built countless special memories. We cherish every minute we have with each other and with Tess. She has changed our lives in so many wonderful ways. God has blessed us with a sweet, stubborn, independent, and beautiful little girl. Happy Birthday Tess! We love you more than words could ever say!!

Tim made Tessa her favorite breakfast....homemade pancakes.

Sharing her cookie with grandpa.....She had too many cookies to count that day.

Enjoying pizza

chillin' with her cousin Brittany and eating another cookie

This kid can tear into presents like no one's business...she must get that from her daddy.  :-)

Thank you all for making Tessa's 2nd birthday so special for her!

Family...

This year for Tessa's 2nd birthday we decided to celebrate with just family.  My mom and sisters came over a few hours before her party started last Saturday.  It was great being able to spend some fun "girl time" with them.

Happy 2nd birthday to my beautiful little princess!
