2 month check up

Tessa had her two month check up yesterday. Her pediatrician said she was perfect. She is on a regular sleeping routine with a 2am feeding and 5am feeding. She is measuring 22 and 3/4 inches long, which puts her in the 75% for height...not really a surprise since Tim and I are both tall. She is weighing in at 10lbs and 5oz. She is actually fitting into her three months clothing. She is much more alert and awake during the day. It's been so fun to watch her change and grow during the last two months. She definitely has her own personality and it's really beginning to show! She is a very stubborn baby. :-) She's also a daddy's girl. We just can't get enough of her!!

2 Months!

Tessa is officially two months old today. She has changed in so many ways. She is making all sorts of cooing noises...they are so cute. She has been holding her head up when she has her tummy time. She is also beginning to push herself up to look around. She loves looking at pictures and mirrors. She'll have her two month check-up next week. We can't wait to see how much she's grown. We just got done with a LONG growth spurt. Tim and I are soooo happy it's over with.

Our good friend Davy, who's from Scotland, came to visit also. Tessa was quite fond of him and fell asleep in his arms.

Beautiful Day

It's been gorgeous in Seattle this weekend, and we took full advantage of it. On Sunday after church, we went out to lunch and to the park with our friends Kim and Travis. Tessa did a little sunbathing.

Tessa is really enjoying her baths. She's starting to kick and play in the water. Thank you Jen and Ed for the CUTE bathrobe. It fits her perfect!

My first Mothers Day

My first Mothers Day was very special. We went over to Wenatchee to see my mom and family. My brother, sister-in-law, and niece, flew in from Alaska too. There was a full house! My sister Amy made a HUGE brunch for all of us. Tim made his famous pancakes for all of the moms in the house that morning. Needless to say, we spent much of the day eating really good food.

So, I have the most amazing husband and daughter! For my first Mothers Day, Tim surprised me with a day at the spa. Of course the card said that it was from Tessa....."she had to borrow the money from daddy, but would pay him back with farts and smiles." It was a pretty cute card. Thank you for a VERY special and relaxing first Mothers Day babe and Tessa!!

Cousin Jayden

Cousin Jayden came to visit Tessa a few weeks ago. He's getting ready to welcome his new brother Ashton into the family. My step sis Jess is pregnant and due the end of May with the 3rd grandbaby.

Sunshine here I come!

So the glasses are a little big, but she's ready for summer and lots of sun. We spent last weekend in Wenatchee, and we all enjoyed the warm weather!! Tessa got to see grandpa and grandma. Tim and I even got to go on our first date ALONE since she was born. Tessa got to hang out with grandma...Thank you mom!
