Staying out of trouble...

With all the cold rain outside, we've managed to keep ourselves quite entertained inside.  We've been to my mom's bible study and kids play group, Kidz Bounce in Issaquah with my MOPS group, and we've spent a little time at home gettn' crafty.  I know I've said this countless times before, but having a little girl is so much fun.

For Valentines Day, Tess got a jewelry making kit.  Her and I spent all morning making braclets for her and her babies.

A little plug for Melissa & Doug.  If you have never used any of their products, you're missing out!  Not only are their products high quality, they are also fairly priced.

Do you remember Play-Doh twenty years ago?  I don't remember ever having little "Play-Doh" tools and stamps to use.  I think I might enjoying playing with Play-Doh more now than I did when I was little.

Our little Valentine

Tim and I have never been accustomed to celebrating Valentines Day.  It's just not our thing that is until we had Tess.  We want to make Valentines Day special for both of our girls!

What a bright smile it brought to my face to see my husband walk through the front door with a dozen red roses for Tess and Jayda.  Jayda won't be able to appreciate them now, but she will.

As any three year old would, Tess dove right into her gift.

5 months and counting

What a great idea one of my girlfriends had.  I am part of a mom's bible study on Monday mornings. This last Monday, we all made our kids a special Valentines Day gift.  Great idea Becca!  What an amazing group of ladies to share such a fun time with.  These aren't quite finished.  I still need to add a black and white photo to each.

What's a valentines Day without a sweet treat!  Thank you babe for the yummy cheesecake and coffee!

Planning A Party

Being the planner that I am, I sometimes get a little carried away with organizing events months in advanced.  For example, Tessa's 3rd birthday isn't until the end of next month, but it's all planned out with all of the supplies bought and ready to go.  I am very blessed and thankful that I am forwarded the opportunity be a stay at home mom and that I have the time to do this sort of stuff for my family. However, I must admit that I do get a little carried away sometimes.  My sweet husband will be the first one to attest to that.

We are having Tessa's birthday party at Build A Bear this year.  Hence the bear stickers on the cupcake boxes.

I was trying to find a way to make an ordinary juice box look a little more intriguing...what do you think?  It's all I could come up with.

I still can't believe my baby is going to be three!

I had such fun making her party invitations.  Thank you Heidi for all of your help.  Forgive the scribbles, but for security reasons, I didn't want our personal info displayed.

Burning energy

Sometimes I wish I could steel some of my daughter's energy.  Even just a quarter of the energy she has would be wonderful.  Tim and I joke that she like the Energizer battery...she keeps going and going and going...  With that said, here are a few ways we've been burning that energy lately.

With Valentines Day quickly approaching, we've spent a few of the rainy days preparing for it.  This girl is just like her mama when it comes to crafts.  We both can't get enough.  During all holidays, Michael's becomes our second home.

Bounce It Up was one of Tessa's favorite places to play.  Unfortunately, they closed their doors last week.  We got in one more play date though.  We'll have to check out kids Bounce in Preston for some bouncing fun now.

Tess was all smiles until she found out we were leaving

It's been so fun making our monthly trips to Wenatchee for my midwife appointments.  We always end up spending time with family when were over there.
Tessa and her cousin Chloe

This last week has been absolutely gorgeous to say the least.  You'd never guess it was the beginning of February.  We have taken full advantage of all the warm sun and have spent countless hours outside enjoying every ounce of Vit. D we can.
