Yesterday, we went to my nephew's house for his birthday party. Here's Tess trying to drive his toy car...I think there's something wrong with this picture....
She tried so hard to climb up the slide by herself

What a day!
Talk about a busy day. This last Saturday was fun, but very busy. Every summer our community in the Issaquah Highlands has a summer carnival. It just so happened that it was last Saturday....the same day I had a wedding to coordinate. We got up early and headed over to enjoy some morning fun. They had soooo many activities for the kiddos. Tess enjoyed the pony's, baby goats, and she loved the balloons. Her very favorite though, was the "sugar free" sucker she got from the dentist booth. After the carnival, I headed off to the wedding. I love being a wedding coordinator. I enjoy helping two people, who are just so in love, join hands in marriage. With all of that and our bi-weekly trip to Costco, I was ready to call it a day... but with the weather being as nice as it was, we couldn't pass up an evening stroll. Whew...now that was a full day.

a little hard to see with the sun, but there's Lake Washington from the top of our hill

Here's to you babe...Happy Father's Day!
Over the last few months Tess has become a daddy's girl. She gets excited to talk to her daddy on the phone when he's at work. She runs to the door and waits for him when she hears the garage door open and he gets home from work. They cuddle and pray together every night. Her very favorite though is wrestling with her daddy. Her giggles and laughs light up the room...even when it's rainy and gray outside. She just can't get enough of daddy/daughter time.
I married an amazing man who loves me, respects me, is a man of character, who loves life and knows how to have fun, and most of all loves the Lord. We have built a beautiful little family, and I am more thankful for him everyday! Tim is an AMAZING husband and dad. We have truly been blessed beyond measure.

A much needed fun and relaxing weekend!
This last weekend was just what we needed. We took naps, had fun with friends and family, ate great food, and Tim and I even got to go on two dates...
Hanging out with daddy and the boys.... Last night we enjoyed dinner with a few of our friends and their kids.....some of the best steaks we've had.....Thank you Yancy and Julie.
The sun came out just in time for dinner last night.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY......
These last few weeks have been crazy busy for us. We've been traveling, sick, had weddings, bbq's, and much more. Since I haven't posted in a while, here are a few pics from the last few weeks.
Tess and I were sick with the flu for a good week. I got bored being stuck inside, so I made some crafts....which I haven't done since before Tess was born. I think the last thing I worked on was her picture book.
Tessa's first pet....a fish. We thought it high time Tess had a pet. One that was EASY to take care of. We got her a Betta fish. She loves watching him swim and feeding him.
