The last three days have been pretty busy. We have been traveling, by car, to North Dakota so that Tim can finish up his engineering degree. I was a bit worried about traveling with a 2 month old baby, but Tessa did very good! We left about 8pm Thursday night. Tim drove 19 hours straight. We stopped at rest stops along the way to change and feed Tess. We stayed in Dickenson, ND on Friday night. Tessa woke up at 2am and decided she didn't want to go back to sleep. We thought since we were up anyways, we might as well hit the road again. We arrived in Grand Forks, ND at about 10am Saturday morning. We are staying in temporary housing located on the college campus. I was a bit worried about the college housing, but it's really not that bad....probably because it's the summer quarter. The campus is really pretty, but our furnished apartment looks like it came straight out of the 80's....see pics above. It will do just fine for the next three weeks.
Today we went on a long walk around the campus and drove over to Minnesota, which is just across the river....just so we could say we've been there. All in all we are having a good time. It's not a vacation, but so far it has been a fun adventure!
