Hot Yoga is officially my new friend....I love it! I will spare you pictures (mainly because I didn't take any).

Yummy fall cookies

I'm not a top notch cookie decorator, but sure have fun trying. My favorite part of the whole process though....eating my creations.

Easy homemade applesauce

So this applesauce recipe is by far one of my favorites. It's so easy to make.
What you will need:

1/2 Cup water
1/4 cup organic brown sugar
1/4 cup organic white sugar
12 organic apples cut up. I prefer Jona Gold apples.
1/2 to 1 Tablespoon cinnamon

Combine all ingredients together in a crockpot. Let the apples cook for 4 to 5 hours and enjoy. It's just that easy!

All you need:
wooden blocks
a small tree branch cut into pieces
an old book
and some orange paint

Have you taken a little time to stop and smell the flowers lately?

In lou of my crazy nesting habits during the fall months, here is the hat and scarf I finished for the girls.

 

After a day of baking, crafts, a trip to the park, and a play date this little girl of ours was one tuckered out kiddo.

This year I finally got around to canning.  I'm lucky I have a hubby who doesn't mind getting dirty in the kitchen. Thanks for you help babe.

Poop

Do you ever have those days where you just want to climb back in bed? Well, today has been one of those days for me. If I was forwarded the opportunity right now, I would hit the rewind button. As a mom, few things that my children do surprise me anymore. Although this afternoon when I walked into my three and a half year olds room and found poop on the floor, I was more than a little shocked (I will spare you the picture I took). Needless to say, this is how my whole day has been, which is why I just want to climb back into bed. Ok...just needed to vent a little. As much as I'd like to pass on days such as today, every day is well worth being a mom! I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Sleeping Beauty

There is something so serene and beautiful about a sleeping baby. I could spend hours watching our little angel sleep. Who am I kidding...I do.
