Every summer we pack our bags, leaving the busyness of life behind, and head up to Whidbey Island. Our time of R&R was very much needed and enjoyed to the fullest. I will let the pictures do the talking.

ENJOYING SOME OF THE LAST SUMMER NIGHTS
A few more pictures from this last week
My sis Jessica
My lil' bro morgan
I remember spending a lot of time with my cousins when I was younger. Some of the best memories are during summers with them. I hope that Tess is able to remember these special times with her cousins.
One of our favorite end of summer activities is picking blackberries. This is a great year for blackberries btw.
A little of August in Pictures
Here I once again find myself lagging behind in blogging. This summer has been a bit crazy. We've had birthday party's (both for friends and family), too many play dates to count, endless hours with grandma and grandpa, trips to the park, weddings, hiking, and about a million other activities. While summer is quickly approaching the end, I'm doing everything I can to hold onto it. While I love fall immensely, I really just don't want to see summer come to and end this year.
Our beautiful little girl who's growing faster than I ever imagined possible...
Spending time with grandpa and grandma Calkins
A cowgirl in the making!!!
I never thought I'd find myself on a horse with my two month old daughter, but here I am. It's been way too long since I've been on a horse, and boy was it great. I miss riding!
Happy birthday Parker!
I've been asked, on more than one occation, if I ever get tired of weddings with being a wedding coordinator. The answer is always the same, "absolutly not!" I'm a big fan of weddings. I'm taking a little break from coordinating weddings this summer to spend time with my new little girl. It's a good thing some one in the family got married this summer.
Congrats James and Rebecca!! We love you both and wish you the very best!!
