36 weeks 3 days

Today I had another Dr. appt. My Dr. seems to think it was the last one...... Everything went great. They hooked me up to the baby monitor and saw that I was having contractions every few minutes. I of course won't go to L & D until they get much worse. I have shortened cervix, and I am dilated 1cm. Tessa is also VERY low. So, for now it's back to more waiting!

35 weeks and 6 days

She has definitely dropped! I've been having mild contractions on and off for the last week or so. We go the Dr. again this Friday. It's been a long journey, and we are SO EXCITED to meet our little girl!!! We'll be sure to keep everyone posted...

My second baby shower!

My friends at work also gave me a baby shower. It was a ton of fun. I work with a great group of ladies! Tessa is soooo spoiled and she not even here yet! She got a ton of books, and we can't wait to start reading them to her.

My first baby shower March 8th 2009

So, my WONDERFUL aunt gave me my very first baby shower. It was perfect. I had all of my close friends and family there to share in this special time with me. My sisters and one of my best friends from Wenatchee were not able to make it over the pass due to all of the snow. I really missed having them there, but better safe than sorry. We were so blessed by all of the wonderful gifts. Tessa is all set now, and she has quit the wardrobe including shoes. Even Tim got a piece of the action. Our good friends Travis and Kim got him a great gift too! :-)

Edythe and Boots

This last weekend we went to visit my great uncle and aunt. They are one of those couples that has the kind of friendship and marriage that everyone looks up to. They are both so in love and so kind. A few weeks ago we found out that Edythe has stage 4 cancer. She has decided not to have treatment. She has lived a full and abundant life. She wants to spend her last days surrounded by her family and friends. She is doing really good! She is very excited to go home and be with the Lord and other loved ones who have died. My uncle Boots is of course devastated! Please keep our family in your prayers during this time.
